New Testament Survey I (3 Credits) -
This class is a survey of the New Testament books. Including: the historical background; authorship; date written;
the purpose of each book; as well as how they became a part of the New Testament. We will see that the New Testament
is God's final revelation to man and how it presents the fulfillments of all Old Testament prophecy; the last recorded words and
works of Christ on earth; the birth and growth of Christ's Church; the prophecies for the last days and clear statements regarding
Christian faith and doctrine. You will be blessed as you study these final Words from God.
Instructor: Prof. Dick J. Wilson, B.Th., M. Div., D.D.
Dogmatics II - Man (3 Credits) -
This class is an essential Scriptural study for all believers regarding man's integrity; the state and nature of his sin; the
meaning of "personal faith" and "forgiveness" in and through the Lord, Jesus Christ. Dogmatics I is not a prerequisite
to take this class.
Instructor: Prof. Jesse Stephens, B.Th., M.Div.
Selected Psalms I - God (3 Credits) -
This class is composed of a general introduction of the Book of Psalms and the exposition of selected Psalms. This
is an exciting study as we see how David glorified the Lord, in the Psalms, even while his enemies were trying to destroy
him. Come and be encouraged.
Instructor: Prof. Douglas E. Stewart, B.A., M.Div., D.Min.
Old Testament Introduction II (3 Credits) -
This class offers a rich survey of the Old Testament's five (5) Poetical Books, which are: Job; Psalms; Proverbs;
Ecclesiastes and the Song of Solomon plus the remaining seventeen (17) Major and Minor Prophetical Books.
This class is essential for a much better understanding of the N.T. and how God redeemed us from death to eternal life
through Jesus Christ. Old Testament I is not a prerequisite.
Instructor: Prof. Danny Thomas, B.Sci., M.A., Th.D.
The Book of Romans (3 Credits) -
This is an excellent study covering Paul's letter to the Romans regarding the need for Justification by Faith
and Sanctification through the Holy Spirit, chapters 1-11; and Instruction in Christian Duties for Living
for Others, chapters 12-16; in Christ Jesus. This class will bless you.
Instructor: Prof. Robert A. Miles, B.A., M.A., M.Div.
Homiletics II: The Art of Preaching (3 Credits) -
This class is based on the "Method" studied in Homiletics I and is designed to teach you how to write three (3) different
types of sermons: (1) textual; (2) expository and (3) topical. You will be asked to write, read, and then, preach
your three sermons, in class, as your fellow students and the Instructor evaluate your sermons for the glory of Jesus.
All are welcome. Homiletics I is not a prerequisite.
Instructor: Prof. Gary K. Heald, B.Th., M.B.S.
The Book of Judges (3 Credits) -
The Book of Judges illustrates the disastrous consequences of breaking fellowship with God. The Lord requires
commitment from His people. When we commit sin, the Lord, in His love, chastens us until we come to full
repentance. When we cry out to Him, the Lord faithfully responds to us. He forgives us, brings
deliverance to us, and restores fellowship with us. Come and see how God worked in the lives of Sampson
and Delilah and how Sampson repented.
Instructor: Prof. Jesse Stephens, B.Th., M.Div.
Church History II (3 Credits) -
This class is an awesome account and study of the developments of the Church during the years 600 A.D. to 1500 A.D.
We will study: the Eastern and Western Church; the Crusades and the rise of Islam; important church
leaders and the struggle between the church and the state. This will set the stage for the coming Reformation.
Church History I is not a prerequisite.
Instructor: Prof. Douglas E. Stewart, B.A., M.Div., D.Min.
Biblical Counseling II (3 Credits) -
This class is about how to help emotionally troubled people and is designed to present what emotional
illness is and how it may be treated successfully through "Logo therapy", Christian fellowship, and
prayer. The art of Biblical Christian counseling by trained pastors, chaplains, and lay
persons in ministry is where many of our students find the Lord using them to help others in this ministry.
No prerequisites.
Instructor: Prof. Michael J. Shoemaker, B.A., M.A., M.Div., M.Th.
Biblical Archaeology (3 Credits) -
Excavations in Biblical lands always constitute a fascinating topic. Archaeologists have uncovered many secrets
from the past that substantiate the truths of the Bible. Dr. Stebner just returned from the Holy Land where he visited
many excavations in Israel and Egypt. You will enjoy your study in this class. Bring a friend.
Instructor: Prof. F. Carlyle Stebner, B.S., M.D., D.D.
